"Great place for a picnic, relaxing, and enjoying the beach! Even though Boise doesn’t have an ocean beach, Lucky Peak Beach park gives you a real beach-like experience with clean, clear water, lots of greenery, mature trees, and beautiful mountains around. Only $7 for all-day entry. Definitely worth visiting with family!"
"Very nice place. A lot of people paddle board there. I went in through the 1st entry and they do not accept debit/credit cards. Cash Only. So I had to go to the Sandy Point entry to use my debit card. Several picnic tables and a beautiful fountain in the middle of the water. Dogs are allowed at the 1st entry but not at Sandy Point. Also not glass bottles or hard boats or boards are allowed at Sandy Point. Inflatable items only."
"Very clean, great little park. Barclay bay is Perfect for little kids and people who aren't great swimmers. Easy walking access but limited shade in the summer."
