Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology

"We were there to view the old penitentiary and saw the museum next door and wanted to go view this place after we finished our tour but they were closed when we went next door. I got off work on Fridays with enough time to go check it out. I have always enjoyed geology and have collected all kinds of rocks through out my life. I was astonished with all of what they have there. They even have meteorites here as well. Highly informative environment and a lot of history here from the rocks to understanding what mining happened here."
