"We have come to Caffè Sorrento plenty of times but this was our first pizza and gelato night! My husband and I both got the Hot Pepperoni. The crispy mini pepperoni, hot honey, and fresh ricotta blended perfectly together and the focaccia style crust was delicious. Plus one piece was the perfect size. We both left full with just enough room for gelato. I tried the pistachio and oh my gosh!! Not too sweet, delightfully nutty. I’ve never had pistachio flavor come through so perfectly. Would highly recommend checking out their pizza and gelato night on Fridays! We will be back, either during regular hours for our favorite sandwich The Dino and some delicious pastries or for pizza night. Maybe to try a new flavor! Thank you as always for sharing your talents with us!"

"I can see why the place comes highly rated! The smell around is fantastic, leaving a sweet tomato aroma lingering in the air surrounding. I came around 1pm on a Saturday, which is just an hour before they close. There were a ton of people here, with all seats being occupied and the line slightly out the door. It took about 5 minutes to be able to order. I got the basil pizzette and received a buzzer to know when it would be ready. I received assistance from the gentleman packing the desserts who guided me towards the canoli (I was having a hard time between that, the raspberry tart, and the raspberry/pistachio maritozzo). He mentioned that this dessert had stronger flavors which I was searching for. I also grabbed an almond biscotti as an impulse. Since there wasn’t anywhere to sit, I stood for a while before finding seating nearby. Once my pizzette was ready, I was able to try all items at the same time. Pizzette first was delicious as anticipated. It tasted exactly like it smelled. The tomato was my favorite part of it since it had a sweetness to it. I wish there was a little bit more basil on this one though. Next was the cannoli which was a surprising flavor. I couldn’t really get any of the pistachio flavor out of it, but the cream had a nice savoriness to it in a sense. Probably because of the ricotta and I’m used to having that ingredient on pizza. The crust was buttery and did kind of crumble with each bite. It had a kind of toasted flavor to it. I think the best part of this was the candied orange slice. It had a jelly texture and strong citrus flavor that complimented the cream well. Last was the almond biscotti which I adored. The almond cookie itself tasted as expected with a soft texture. I loved the cherry on top because it wasn’t an actual cherry, it was a sort of jam that was shaped like a maraschino cherry. Overall loved my visit and would love to come try it again!"

"If you really want to try a true Italian food you have to come to Caffe Sorrento. It’s like traveling to Italy 🇮🇹 5 mins from Boise. Everything is so good. My kids now want to come back everyday. Today we tried the Delizia Di Limone and it was so delicious! 100% recommended. Auguri Ragazzi!"
