4-screen cinema for art & foreign films. Indie films & new releases shown on 4 screens, plus cafe fare, beer, wine & a movie rental section.
"Flick's is sooooo awesome! I highly recommend it. It's a smaller theater house with a DVD rental section as you can see in the pictures I posted. Everything is really well priced. I ordered a beer, sparkling water, and popcorn and it cost me like $11 or $12 and i said they must have forgotten something because it seemed too low to me. If you want an intimate setting with a diverse selection of films, come check this place out! The cookies are amazing! The little lounge area has a fireplace! Next time I'm trying out the baked brie and French bread, or the lasagna! I'll be back again, and soon!"
"The Flicks is one of a kind! Boise is so lucky to have this wonderful theater! Four Screens, amazing films, great staff, and a delightful food menu."
"I can confidently say this is the best movie theater in Boise. Friendly and helpful staff, movies you can't always find at normal theaters, no pre-roll ads and only a couple of trailers, actual grilled/cooked food. The prices are reasonable, with tickets being $10 and popcorn being like $3-4ish along with flavoring options you don't find at the big theaters. Also drinks! It makes it really easy to get here early and get some food before seeing a movie and I love it. The only downsides is it is definitely a little older than the other movie theaters in Boise, the seats are nearly as "luxury" as modern theaters and the sound and picture quality isn't groundbreaking. But it still gives you a chance to see movies in a theater for a reasonable price that you can't see at the other theaters. One of my favorite places in Boise."
