"Nice little campground under towering Ponderosa pines south of Idaho City. Works best for tent camping and small rigs. Unfortunate that the water pump near our site did not work, and one camper ran his generator all afternoon. Short walk to Mores Creek."
"The Campground is not open yet. You cross over Mores Creek first then turn up a gradual slope into the Campground. We took our dog and hiked around, our first time there, and loved it! It's a beautiful forested campground with nice Outhouse bathrooms; good-sized, paved flat camp sites (as far as we could tell, ) that include a campfire pit, sturdy picnic table and a big hooked pole others would probably know what it's for! 😅 There was a little creek babbling along and some 🌼 little wild buttercup-type wild flowers blooming. It was just a lovely, 🌲🌲🌲 in-the-tall-Ponderosa-Pines place to be! There were a few tall trees that broke and fell in the Winter, but they will be moved by camping season. My phone died so I didn't get photos of the camp sites."
"We booked group A and B for our wedding. It was beautiful. Had an abundance of tables and each group and one large fire pit. The water pump worked just fine with a little effort. You do need to bring your own gazebo or something similar though. Bathrooms were fairly clean. Maintenance showed up on our second day to clean them. The only real complaint that I have is the random people that will just stroll through on a walk or on their bike. They were stopping to talk to our kids and walking right through gusts campsites."
